We nurture and raise puppies by our AKC Registered Females for a lifelong companion. They are raised in our home on baby blankets where they are comfortable with heat and a/c and room to play inside our home and out the back door to a fenced yard.
We are about 2 hours west of Washington, DC and have been breeding good quality, healthy, family companions since 1994. I will be glad to supply references of past buyers as well as my Veterinarian. Be careful of SCAMS, only buy from breeders where you can go to their home and meet at least the mother and the litter.

About Us.
My name is Becky Rohrbaugh and I live in the Eastern part of West Virginia, about an hour off I-81 at the Strasburg, VA or Winchester, VA exits. I am the person you will speak with at Ruff Around The Edges. I live with my husband "Darrell" and all our animals. We are both animal lovers and have had pets all our lives, we can't imagine life without our furry or feathered friends.
We have a lot of dogs but most of the are pets that have been spayed or neutered or retired breeders. Most of our dogs came to us as puppies that we raised. All of our dogs live inside our home with heat and a/c and sleep on furniture, dog beds or blankets, whichever they choose.
We are country people and live very simply. We don't have a big fancy house and a paved driveway but live at the end of a long gravel driveway off the main road to keep our dogs safe. We are about 2 hours west of Washington, DC. I can arrange meet-up and/or pick-up at my daughter's house in Stephens City, VA if that helps with the distance.
